Philville News Fall/Winter 2019

Updated: Nov 26, 2019

Friends & Family:

Greetings from Eau Claire, Wisconsin!  Philville Records has officially landed back in the north-woods, and we're excited to report that the new studio is up and running, with an incredibly cozy live room, upright piano, lots of new gear, and more space to track than we ever had in Ventura.

Two Midwest solo gigs remaining in 2019:

December 6th 6:00 p.m.:

December 7th 8:00 p.m.:

Upcoming Releases on Philville Records

Philville Records is pleased to announce that there will be at least four new releases in late 2019 and through 2020! Coming up before the end of the year will be a single of new original material by Matt Cadenelli tracked at the old Ventura studio, as well as releases from the latest Philville Recording Artist, Hannah Jobus, and a new record "Reflectere" by Matt Sayles, (W/ Rick Clemens, Bill Flores, and Matt Cadenelli). The Detroit Sportsmen's Congress will also be releasing a live album (exclusively on Philville Records website) from the farewell show at the Maverick Saloon, in Santa Ynez in May of 2019.

Philville Records Partners with

Northern Lights Entertainment

In more exciting news, Philville Records is now working with Northern Lights Entertainment for Midwest artist bookings. Thanks to Judy and her team for all her hard work, and what's looking to be a very busy 2020.

2020 West Coast Tour Announced

Lastly, Matt Sayles will be doing his first tour back out west coming up in April of 2020! The Ventucky String Band already has a few shows lined up, most notably at Firestone's "From the Barrel" series on April 3rd, 2020. Be sure to visit their website and sign up on their mailing list as this prohibition era themed event sells out in minutes once the tickets go on sale, and it is one of the best fine food & craft beer events anywhere on the west coast. There are several more shows to be announced (with the Detroit Sportsmen's Congress, solo performances, and gigs with other Philville friends and artists), so I'll be sending along more info on the tour in the next newsletter in early 2020.

Have a happy holiday season, Matt & the Philville Records Family
